Over the past decade, we've grown into a celebrated home for Scottish landscape photography

Jack, the Photographer & Founder of Applecross Gallery
Jack moved to Applecross in 2012 after extensively travelling across Scotland in search of dramatic landscapes to photograph.
He fell in love with the northwest Highlands, and Applecross embodied everything he was seeking for photographic inspiration, making it the perfect place to launch his business and career.
In 2015, he opened the Applecross Photographic Gallery. Over the years, the gallery has grown, allowing Jack to build a small team and offer a wide variety of high-quality, sustainably made products, using local materials whenever possible.

The Adventures Behind the Lens
For Jack, it's about more than just reaching the summit. Behind the images, there's a lot of planning involved in scouting the compositions and anticipating how weather and light shape each frame.
To achieve the perfect landscape panorama, Jack’s world is one of wild camps, early morning mountain sunrises, and true dedication.

10 Years On, We're giving you the Chance to join Jack and the Team
This isn’t your average group hike. We’re opening a few exclusive spots for people who feel a genuine connection to the outdoors, creativity, and the landscapes of the Highlands and want to celebrate that with us. The trip will take place on the 10th & 11th of July (Weather permitting).
You’ll be with the same close-knit team that’s helped bring these works to life, through sustainable printing, locally made frames, and years of collaborative
care.
You don't have to be a professional photographer, we’re looking for people who are curious, adventurous, and inspired by nature. Whether you’re a storyteller, artist, explorer, or just someone who finds peace in the mountains.
If this speaks to you, we’d love to hear your story!
Finer details will be discussed with those who are shortlisted to join us - however the following will be provided:
