We have been really busy here at the gallery recently, having a huge spring clean and refreshing the space, ready for the season ahead. You may have seen the refresh teased on our socials, but if not, here is what it looks like now.
As each individual canvas has different levels of wear, we've listed them separately, providing detailed photos of any elements of damage, so you are fully aware of the condition in which your canvas will arrive with you after purchase.
Discounts vary depending on the extent of the damage.
Some canvases only have minor damage to the back, which could be as little as a few rusted staples or hanging hooks, which won’t be visible at all once hung on the wall.
Other canvases show damage on the sides and edges, slight scuffs or marks from being moved about the gallery, but when hung from a distance, these are barely visible if visible at all. These will come with a slightly higher discount.
Finally, for canvases with more noticeable damage, including marks on the front, we're offering the largest discounts — up to 50% off! When viewed from a distance, they still look amazing, but when up close or shown in certain lights, slight marks and damage may be visible from the front. We recommend these for spaces where they’ll be viewed from afar, such as above a sofa or bed, where any marks will blend in seamlessly.
