Opened in 2015, the Applecross Gallery sits just a mile past the Applecross Inn, reached by the famous Bealach na Bà mountain pass, one of the most scenic routes on the North Coast 500. The gallery has become a favourite stop for travellers exploring the Applecross Peninsula and looking to connect with the wild beauty of the Highlands.
Visitors to the gallery can expect to experience a curated collection of Scottish photographic art that captures the breathtaking beauty of the local environment. The works on display are characterised by their ability to evoke the serene and majestic qualities of nature, making them suitable for both personal enjoyment and as unique additions to any collection.
During the Summer, the Gallery is open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm. Our car park offers sweeping views over Raasay, Scalpay, and the Cuillin Hills of Skye, and we believe we have the best view from any car park in Scotland.
Don’t take our word for it, though; come and visit us here in Applecross to view our collection, see where our prints and canvases are made, and meet the team.
How to Find Us
From the Applecross Inn, follow the road along Shore Street, past the township of Milltown and around Milltown Loch. From here, continue left at the fork by the Fire Station and Community Hall. The gallery is located at the top of the hill next to the phone masts, you can’t miss it!
