Jack Marris on the beach with his camera and his dog

Who is Jack Marris?

Jack moved to Applecross in 2012 after extensively travelling across Scotland in search of dramatic landscapes to photograph. He fell in love with the northwest Highlands, and Applecross embodied everything he was seeking for photographic inspiration, making it the perfect location to launch his professional photography career.

Larch Post and Floating Post Frames

Although our canvases can stand alone as finished pieces for your wall, we also have a variety of frames, constructed of local Larchwood. They are truly a part of Applecross having grown here, been milled here into fenceposts at the now defunct Applecross sawmill, and used to fence the Pine tree plantation on the Bealach na Ba which was felled a few years ago.

We’re Keeping Things Local & Sustainable

One of our biggest priorities is to source materials and services as locally and sustainably as possible. From our larch fence post frames sourced and crafted in Applecross, to our Carbon Balanced Paper Certified By The World Trust, you can be sure of our dedication to the environment and local Scottish Highland communities.
